I just wanted to show you guys which books I’ve gotten and bought in December 2014. So take a look…
People who’ve read the Afterlife review and about me on my blog know that I’m a huge fan of Afterlife! So it’s about time that I bought the saga in paperback! The second of February is my birthday and then I’m getting the other parts, until then I’ve unfortunately have to wait.
The cover is very beautiful! You will find an eye on every cover of the Afterlife saga.
I won this book on the Facebook page of Penelope Douglas! I’m very happy that I got to read this book early and besides that, it’s signed! Also from this series I need to get the first three books, but believe me in 2015 I will have this series complete in paperback and standing proud in my bookcase.
Penelope Douglas also send three bookmarks, her business card and a pen!
What I like about the covers of the Fall Away series is that there are hot boys on them. Okay on the covers of Bully and Until you, you don’t actually see the boy, but hell I really like the sixpack of those boys.
3. Breaking the Darkness – Felicia Starr
Taken ( Breaking the Darkness, #1) and Marked (Breaking the Darkness, #1,5)
These books were waiting under the christmas tree!!! I still need to read them and I’m planning to do it soon. I really liked the blurb and the covers.
Blurb of Taken…
You must betray your heart and walk amongst the darkness in order to find the truest light.
Opening her eyes to an imposing prison of complete darkness, Kasha is accused of possessing powers and abilities she had no previous knowledge of until the moment she comes face to face with herself while meditating. Haunted by memories strung together by lies and deceit, she soon discovers that maybe her beloved grandmother kept a few secrets she hadn’t been aware of. Secrets that could be her salvation… or her undoing.
As she struggles to control her newfound powers, only time will tell if they will be enough to help her decipher who has imprisoned her or what they want from her. She must search for the answers and the freedom she so desperately desires.
Could a handsome guy who vows to help her get away prove to be the man of her dreams… or perhaps her worst nightmare? Not knowing who to trust, she must find a way to escape before she pays the ultimate price and finds herself taken by the darkness.
I already read Starcrossed and Dreamless (Starcrossed, #2) stands high on my TBR list. I bought these books second handed but they were in an excellent condition. Part three is on the way!
